Design and Technology is about providing opportunities for children to use creativity and imagination to design, make and evaluate products, based around a given brief. Units of learning within D&T focus upon design, structures, mechanisms, electrical control and a range of materials, including food.

Within Design and Technology children will learn and build on a range of practical and technical skills, learning how to use tools and materials safely and economically, testing their ideas followed by critiquing and evaluating both their own products and the work of others.
